Here two of us spent Christmas.

Now there were snow almost nothing att all.

Kävelimme paljon

We walked a lot.

Yksi meistä kalasti.

One of us was fishing.

Kala ei syönyt.

There were no fish.

Onneksi kalaa sai myös kaupasta.

We were lucky it was possible to buy fish from a market.

Taas kävelimme...

Again we walked...

Näin vietin jouluni - This is how I spent my christmas

 Vuokrasimme jouluksi pienen mökin.

We borrowed a little cottage for the christmas time.

Mökki sijaitsi Kahilammen rannalla Janakkalassa.

The cottage was situated in Janakkala near a little lake named Kahilampi.

Jouluateria jaettiin lähimpien kanssa.

With me there were only my very nearest people.

Muutama lahjakin jaettiin.

We got some christmas presents too.

Joulu on salaperäistä aikaa.

In Christmas there is always some magic in the air.

Joulupäivänä muistelimme myös edesmenneitä rakkaitamme.

We were remembering also our dead loving ones.

Hautausmaalla oli jouluna kaunista.

The graveyard was very beautiful in Christmas.
